Riana Patel is a Grade 11 student at American School Bombay, where she studies under the IBDP curriculum to explore her keen interests in Biology, Psychology, and adjacent fields. With a keen interest in promoting a vast range of social causes, Riana has previously volunteered at Teach for Fun, where she taught essential topics in Art and Science to children from underprivileged backgrounds. As the founder and author of Bioethics Today, an online blog on the intersections of genetics, politics, and technology, Riana actively writes about emerging concepts in the biomedical discipline. Riana is also the founder of the Semicolon Podcast, in which capacity she disseminates information on the importance of mental health and well-being among teenagers.
