Seeking to create an accessible, student-facing, and interactive educational resource, in June 2023 Project CHAAR developed an activity book following the character of Mike the Microbe, containing a collection of fun, accessible quizzes, games, and reflection questions to help children understand the role of microbes and bacteria in our health and lives through simple topics related to hygiene, nutrition, exercise, and immunity.
